Friday the 31st marked Malaysia's 50th birthday. The golden jubilee of Merdeka was celebrated with such grandeur befitting this important landmark.I can only pray that the country will continue to be blessed with this invaluable gift of independence. Let's not take Merdeka for granted, and let's all be thankful by working hard to preserve independence.
